Friends! I recorded my very first voiceover this morning 🤍
You’ll be able to listen to it at the end of this post.
It’s a gift to you—hopefully, a more seamless experience of my writing—and a gift of courage to myself.
Now it is cloudy; my mind is cloudy, feeling tired, sad, and confused.
So this post won’t be a hit.
I decided to tackle a simple topic:
What am I?
Let’s start with what I am not.
I am not my words, I am not my opinions, I am not my thoughts, I am not my aspirations, my projections, my beliefs, my interpretations.
I am not my mind.
I am not my hands, I am not my eyes, I am not my skin, I am not my sex, I am not my lust, I am not my desire, I am not my thirst or my hunger.
I am not my body.
I am not my guilt, I am not my shame, I am not my regrets, I am not my wishes, I am not my memories, I am not my illusions.
I am not my fears.
I am not my changing feelings, my turning thoughts, or my perspectives.
Well then, what am I?
I am a fleeting moment, intertwined in eternity.
I am you, my love.
I am the breeze on your skin.
I am the salt in your sweat.
I am the sunlight on your face.
I am the air in your lungs.
I am the blood in your veins.
I am the beat of your heart.
I am
with you—
this fleeting, eternal moment.
And you are,
love,
in everything in the world,
and everything in the world
is in you.
So yes,
you and I
are one.
Loved the voice over of the birds as you as one.
Thanks Forrest. A glimpse of God are you.
