Reading your words felt like listening to an old soul's story, one that carries the weight of the world yet is light. It's as if you reached into the very essence of existence and pulled out something raw and real, something that can't be neatly wrapped up in words. It's incredible how you've taken the darkest corners of your experience and illuminated them with grace and humor. Forrest, your words are a gift to all of us. They remind us of our shared humanity, our capacity to feel deeply, to suffer, to heal, and to grow. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am still reading this. I find myself rereading parts and pausing. I did want to say it is rare to be able to share vulnerability with such honesty and humour. I cant help but smile and laugh when I read your posts. The humanity 💛 How fortunate for failed attempts. If the Forrest(s) in those moments only knew how they would reach me, so many. See them and touch them profoundly even through a screen.

I honor you. I honor you so much for sharing your journey and for what you have withstood. For the purity of your heart. It is the purest of souls who face such great pain here. We remember how things once were, we see things are not as they should be. It hurts to see the tremendous suffering in this world and the pieces of it we too have experienced. I see you. I deeply do. You are not alone. Life is being restored. Slowly but surely we are doing it together. In unbearable moments, may we turn to the sun and always feel the light within our own hearts. May we always find our way back to love. May truth land in every space it has been desecrated. 🙏🏻✨

Thank you again, Forrest, for your kind words. I am very happy you like my little Café! My to-be-New-York-Times-best-seller needs to find a publisher first! I’m actively working on it in France and plan to rewrite it in English around January 2025. I will share bits of it on my Substack then but will share the children book I’ve just finished writing much sooner, next month, probably. I really look forward reading your next posts. Lots of love.

Thank you, Forrest, for this delightful treat that you've cooked up. I love your enthusiasm, your passion, your authenticity, your creativity. Thank you for all your feedback on my writing. I like the wave length we're hanging out on. It may be a little bit out there for some but it sure is fun loving on everyone, isn't it. I love love. Isn't it grand? I'm tired today but love keeps on rolling in the background. ups and downs and all arounds. love you

I feel it is courageous to share vulnerability and provide us all an opportunity to better understand each other and ourselves as a whole. Our minds and heart are precious and complex things! My favourite words: "Now what?

Now I know that the most painful and the most blissful experiences come and go. I can accept them, I survived them and I am not them.

Now I simply know that I am not any of those thoughts that have been hammering my head all my life. They are still there, but I am not them."

"I just know that I love all of you.

You see, I don’t know many things.

Maybe, only maybe when I die, I will know nothing at all.

Maybe then, I will come back to our true home, where there’s no need to know nothing. Simply be what we are.

Simply accept what we all are.

Simply love what we all are."

dude! how have i not been subscribed?? rectified now.

I loved this. so raw and real and familiar too. And then pop. normal life in kansas. ain't it all a hoot now? but seriously, those old feelings. I get it. I heard the whisper say- if the old souls came in to this world and had no suffering and knew what they remembered, you would have had no compassion for the people of this earth.

thank you for your journey. thank you for you being you.
